If a colleague has already set up a property, you don’t need to create your own — you join theirs. Once you join, the property appears in your property switcher and you can work in it according to your role.
You need an invitation to join. A property Manager sends you one by email — see Invite team members for how invitations are created and sent.
There are three ways in, depending on where you are when you get the invitation. If you’ve just made your account, the first one needs nothing from your email at all.

Accept the invitation waiting for you

If you sign in and aren’t part of a property yet, and a Manager has already invited you, Vidimo shows you the invitation straight away: the property name, the role you’ll have, and an Accept invitation button. Tap it and you’re in — no code to find, no link to tap.
Sign up with the same email address the invitation was sent to. Vidimo matches the invitation to your account by address, so an invitation sent to one address won’t appear if you signed up with another.
This is the quickest route for a new team member. The two below are for when you already belong to a property, or when you’re joining from a different device.

Join from the invitation email

The invitation email has a Join button. Tapping it opens the Join a property screen with your invite code already filled in — tap Join and you’re in. If you aren’t signed in yet, you’ll be asked to sign in first and are brought back to the screen afterwards.

Join with an invite code

Use this if you’re joining from a different device than the one where you read the email, or if the link doesn’t open the app.

Open Join a property

Tap your avatar in the top bar to open your menu, then tap Join a property.

Enter your invite code

In the Invite code field, paste the invite code from your invitation email. Your teammate can also copy it from their Members screen and send it to you directly.

Join

Tap Join. Vidimo adds the property to your account and switches you into it.
If joining fails, double-check the invite code and try again. Invitations expire after 48 hours and can be withdrawn, so ask the Manager who invited you to re-send it if it no longer works.

After you join

The property becomes available in your property switcher at the top left. Use the switcher to move between properties or to see All properties at once.
