Where to find a guest
- From the Guests tab. Open Guests for a searchable directory of everyone who’s stayed or is booked in, then tap someone to open their details. See The Guests directory below.
- From a reservation. Open a reservation on the Calendar and tap a guest listed on the stay, or the person named in its Booker section.
- From a guest chat. Open the guest’s conversation in Chats and open their details.
The Guests directory
The Guests tab lists everyone who has stayed with you or is booked in, across the properties you’ve selected, a quick way to look someone up without hunting through chats or the calendar.- Search by name, phone, or email. Accents are optional, so “muller” finds Müller.
- Filter by reservation status, unit, or Arrival dates.
- Each row shows the guest’s name, their most recent stay’s status, and its unit and dates. Tap Call to phone them, or tap the row to open their full details.
What the guest details show
Alongside their name, the guest’s details bring together everything known about them:- Guest Information: phone, email, nationality, and (when known) their age or date of birth and sex.
- Identity Documents: captured passport or ID details: the document type, number, issuing country, and expiry date. This section appears once a document has been scanned (see Capturing an ID or passport).
- Upcoming Bookings and Past Bookings: the guest’s stays, split into what’s still to come and what’s already checked out. Tap a booking to open its reservation.
Edit the guest
Open the guest’s details, then tap Edit () in the toolbar to open the Edit Guest form. You can set:- First Name and Last Name
- Phone
- Nationality: tap the field, then tap Search countries and type part of the country’s name (or its three-letter code) to find it, then tap the country
A guest needs at least one way to be identified: a name, a phone number, or an
email. You can fill in just a phone or email if you don’t have the name yet.
Add a travelling companion from their message
A companion often messages from their own number, so at first the app only sees a stranger with no booking. When their message makes it clear whose stay they are joining (“I’m checking in with my husband next week”), a Link … to reservation card appears in your notifications, naming the booking it matched. Tap Link to reservation to put them on that booking’s guest list and tie their conversation to it. From then on they appear under the booking’s guests with Message and Call, and suggestions drawn from their messages, such as a changed arrival time, apply to that booking. When they hand over their ID at check-in, the scan updates the profile you linked instead of creating a second one.Linking is not a merge. The companion keeps their own profile, conversation
and ID document; they are simply added to the booking alongside the person
who made it.
Merge duplicate guests
If the same person ended up with two profiles, merge them so all their details and bookings sit on one profile. You don’t have to go looking for them. When someone messages or calls from a phone number that already belongs to a guest, a Merge duplicate guest identity card appears in your notifications. Tap Review merge on the card to open the picker below with the matching profile already suggested. Nothing is merged until you confirm.1
Open Merge
From the guest’s details, tap Merge. The Merge with Another Guest
screen opens.
2
Pick the other profile
Search for the profile to merge into, by name, phone number, or email.
If the app spotted a likely duplicate, it appears at the top marked
Suggested by AI. Tap the profile you want.
3
Confirm the merge
The Confirm merge screen shows the Source and Target side by
side. The guest you started from is the source: their details are added to
the target’s profile. Tap Confirm merge to finish, or Cancel to go
back.
Capturing an ID or passport
Identity documents aren’t typed into the guest form. To add a guest’s passport or ID details, open the reservation and use Scan ID / passport. The app reads the document and fills in the details for you. Once captured, they show up in the guest’s Identity Documents.Scan a guest ID or passport
