Vidimo opens on Today: the day’s arrivals, departures, and in-house guests for whatever property scope you have selected. It’s the first tab on the left, and it’s where the app lands every time you open it.

Today and Tomorrow

At the top of the screen, Today and Tomorrow sit side by side. Tap Tomorrow to see the next day’s arrivals and departures — useful last thing at night, when what matters is who is turning up in the morning. Tap Today to come back. The < and > arrows either side step one day at a time, so you can reach any date from here. The full date always shows just under the two buttons, so you can see which day you’re looking at. Step past tomorrow and neither button stays highlighted — the date is your guide.
Tap the Today tab again while you’re already on it to jump straight back to today, wherever you’ve paged to.

The three sections

The day is split into the three groups a handover actually needs, each with a count beside its name:
  • Arrivals — guests checking in that day, with their check-in time.
  • Departures — guests checking out that day.
  • In-house — guests staying through the day (they arrived earlier and leave later), each showing the date they check out.
Every row shows the unit, the guest’s name, the time, and a status badge. Any pending prep and cleaning tasks for that stay appear just beneath it, so a turnover reads as one block rather than two separate lookups. Tap a row to open the reservation, or tap a task to open the task. A section with nothing in it still shows, with a count of 0 and None underneath. That’s deliberate: “no departures today” is worth reading, and a missing heading is easy to mistake for something that hasn’t loaded. When the whole day is clear, the screen says Nothing scheduled instead.
Cancelled and no-show reservations are left out — Today is a list of what you need to prepare for, not a record of everything on file. Open the Calendar for the full picture.

Scope

Today follows the property switcher at the top of the screen like every other tab. With All properties selected you see every arrival and departure together; narrow to one property and the day narrows with it. See Finding your way around for how the switcher works.

Today and the Calendar

Today answers what is happening on one day. The Calendar answers where a stay sits across many: it lays your reservations out on a timeline, one row per unit, so you can see spans and the gaps between them. Reach for Today for the day in front of you, and the Calendar when you are looking further out.
